Our
Homes
Our homes are the first thing you will encounter when you arrive, built largely by our own hands and many still works in progress, but they are home, and you will be welcomed in by them.
Amongst them is our grandfather’s original home, the rebuild of our childhood Home, our family kitchen, and additional homes that houze each of our growing families.

“Generations of family lovingly sustained right here”

Bula & Cabito raised 5 sons each given the option to build their family home right here .We hope that in these homes and on this land our tradition continues for many generations to come.

“Always new life at the farm”

Our Conuco is home to hundreds of trees, and a variety of Roots, Gourds, & herbs that make up a large part of our daily food staples. We Grow our large fruit trees around the edges, our plantain and banana trees fill the middle; and our roots, gourds, beans and other small plants grow in between.

El
Conuco
The heart & soul of our land and tradition, a Taino word that means “land that sustains a family” is a traditional practice of agroforestry here in the Dominican Republic that our family has maintained for more generations than we can count.
It is our sustenance, it is our tradition, a living memorial, a statement of love, It is generations of cultivation passed down hand to hand, from our grandfathers to our fathers, to us, and someday to our children.

The staircase just beyond the farm, at the back of the property, leads you to the water's edge of the beautiful Rio Yasica, a sandy bottom clear water river, where we have bathed, fished, and adventured since birth; day and night this river has sustained and entertained us.
