...Are Inspired by the traditions we keep and we are honored to invite you to the land that has kept us & fed us for so many generations, to take one. In our opinion, there is no better place to learn to cook your favorite Dominican Meal or Sweet Dish than right here with our family.

Classes

Take a look at some of the Traditional Dominican Dishes you can learn to cook from our family. If you don't see something you would like to learn feel free to ask us!

Savory Dishes

  • Locrio (Meat & seasonings cooked into rice)

  • Moro (beans or gandules cooked into rice)

  • Arroz blanco (white rice)

  • Habichuela (stewed fava beans)

  • Habichuela Negra (stewed Black beans)

  • Tayota Guisada (stewed gourd)

  • Carne Guisada (Stewed Chicken, Pork, Beef, etc)

  • Sancocho (Traditional Stew of: Meats, Roots, Bread fruit, Plantains, & green bananas)

  • Sopa (simple chicken noodle like soup)

  • Asopado (rice & meat stew)

  • Sopa de Hueso (Beef Bone Soup)

Pricing 

  • There is a $2000 peso base rate per class paired with a cost per person attending.

  • Adults $30USD or $1,500 RDP (per person)

  • 50% Deposit is required at the time of booking, balance due the day of class.

Days

  • We are available Mon-Sat

  • Sundays are at times available upon request.

Group Size

  • Min Group size is 4 Adults. 

Timeframe

  • Arrival time is generally between  10AM-11AM

  • Later arrival times available upon request

  • classes Generally Last 2-4 hrs.

  • Please confirm your booking at least 2 days in advance to secure your spot
